Program Sponsors:

Welcome to the Peterson-Dumesnil (“doo-ma-nil”) House, the restored 1869 summer home of a Louisville tobacco merchant, and each year the setting for the Bulldogs Picnic, the kick-off event for your Summer Intern Program. The PD House Foundation welcomes you and is happy again this year to open the House and its grounds to you for your Memorial Day get-together.

The P-D House, as it is often called, is close to 140 years old and is a cherished site in the Crescent Hill neighborhood of Louisville. We invite you to visit our website www.petersondumesnil.org to view photos of this historic landmark and to learn more about its history.

We hope you too will come to view Louisville as it was described by Vanessa Moon, a 2004 intern, in her testimonial: “...a little big city in a Southern but not quite Southern state...a place I could call home.”
