The letter will be forwarded to the student by the Yale Club of Kentucky for the student's commitment.  Once the student has responded, you will be notified by the Yale Club of Kentucky as to whether the student has been granted a position.

(Agency/Company name) is pleased to confirm our commitment to hire you as a Yale Club of Kentucky Summer Intern beginning May 29, 2007 and ending August 3, 2007. Your compensation for this period will be $(less any taxes or standard employee withholding expenses), to be paid on a basis.

As discussed, our expectations of the student for this period will include:

But we encourage you to use your creativity to expand upon these responsibilities as you feel appropriate and circumstances permit.

This position is not funded until it is approved by Yale Club of Kentucky.

Positions in The Yale Club of Kentucky summer intern program will be awarded by the Yale Club of Kentucky in its sole and absolute discretion; all decisions of the Club are final. No position will be awarded without a completed Application Form and Commitment Letter. It is the responsibility of the student and the employer to verify the Yale Club's receipt of all the documents.
